He has published chapters and peer-reviewed articles, with an emphasis on cardiac intensive care, informatics, outcomes assessment and quality improvement.
Edo Paz is the VP Medical and a Lead Physician at K Health. Dr. Paz has two degrees in chemistry from Harvard and an MD from Columbia University. He did his medical training in internal medicine and cardiology at New York-Presbyterian. In addition to his work at K Health, Dr. Paz is a cardiologist at Heartbeat Health, a cardiology practice located in New York City.
With more than 15 years of software engineering and data science experience, leading dev and data teams, and after studying for his BA in computer science, Dr. Souroujon earned his MD and graduated summa cum laude from the Tel Aviv University School of Medicine.
Dr. Mordel is an Attending Physician in the Emergency Departments of NYU Langone Hospital & Bellevue Hospital Center. Dr. Mordel is a graduate of the University of Georgia and served as an EMT for the city and county services.
Dr. Shafran is a board-certified pediatrics physician. He received his medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv and completed his medical residency at the Jacobi Medical Center. Dr. Shafran has done multiple fellowships—transplant ethics at Cleveland Clinic and pediatric nephrology at Rainbow, Babies & Childrens University Hospitals.
Dr. Perlman is a clinical pharmacist and pharmacoepidemiologist, with over 10 years of experience advising patients and clinicians on medication use, personalization, and safety. He has extensively published peer-reviewed research addressing medication safety.

Yes! Your K-affiliated doctor will evaluate you to determine what prescription, if any, is appropriate. Once a doctor determines you need a prescription, he or she will send it to your local pharmacy or mail it to your door, if available. Learn more about what we treat and our refill policy here.
For a one-time visit you will pay $19. This includes three days of follow-up and access to a doctor. For unlimited access to doctors you can sign up for our membership for only $9 per month. If you enroll in our membership you will automatically be charged every three months until you cancel.

Yes! Members can chat with expert doctors anytime, as often as they’d like. Licensed doctors respond between the hours of 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. EST, seven days a week.
