STD testing, diagnosis, and treatment at one low price

No hidden fees

Whether you’re insured or not, you’ll only pay $59. Benefit from our negotiated rate that’s a fraction of most copays and out-of-pocket costs.

Accurate, private testing

Privately order your test and get your results through our secure app. A lab test is the only way to confirm if you have chlamydia or gonorrhea.

Fast results within 1-2 days

After an immediate doctor consultation, head to a Quest Diagnostics near you for a urine test. Your doctor will share your results in 1-2 days.

Ongoing doctor support

Your lab is ordered by a board-certified doctor who chats through your symptoms and follows up with results & treatment options.

How it works

Complete a short questionnaire

We’ll ask you a few questions to determine your risk of infection and if a STD test is recommended.

Chat with a doctor

Within minutes a board-certified doctor will review your responses and order you a lab test through our partner, Quest Diagnostics.

Take your test

Visit a Quest nearest to you for a urine analysis that will determine if you have chlamydia or gonorrhea. You can do this the same day you order your test.

Discuss your treatment options

Your doctor will message you when your results are ready (typically 1-2 days later). If you are positive for chlamydia, they will prescribe you antibiotics on the spot. If you are positive for gonorrhea, they will refer you to in-person care to get an injectable (the recommended course of treatment).

Max A.

“Absolutely amazing. It correctly told me that I had food poisoning at one point and it also correctly told me that I had appendicitis. This app is a life saver and I've recommended it too all of my friends.”

What we test for: chlamydia & gonorrhea

Chlamydia and gonorrhea are the most commonly reported STDs in the U.S. Both are highly contagious and can be acquired through unprotected vaginal, anal, and oral sex. Luckily, they are easily treatable. Learn more about chlamydia, gonorrhea, and prevention tips below.

Chlamydia: Symptoms, Treatment, & Diagnosis

Symptoms in women

  • Inflammation of the cervix (Cervicitis), which can cause vaginal discharge or abdominal pain
  • Vaginal redness and swelling
  • Vaginal itching or burning
  • Painful urination or a need to urinate frequently
  • Painful sexual intercourse

Symptoms in men

  • Burning sensation during urination
  • Unusual discharge from the penis
  • Pain in the lower abdomen
  • Pain or occasionally swelling in the testicles

Treatment options

Since chlamydia is a bacterial infection, it can be effectively treated with antibiotics. Your K-affiliated doctor can prescribe you the antibiotic Azithromycin, taken in one dose, or Doxycycline, an antibiotic taken twice a day for seven days.

Gonorrhea: Symptoms, Treatment, & Diagnosis

Symptoms in women

  • Vaginal itching, burning, swelling, or redness
  • Increased or yellowish vaginal discharge
  • Painful or burning sensation when urinating
  • Frequent urination
  • Bleeding between periods or long, heavy periods
  • Painful intercourse
  • Abdominal or pelvic pain

Symptoms in men

  • Painful or burning sensation when urinating
  • White, yellow, or green discharge from the penis
  • Painful or swollen testicles (less common)

Treatment options

The most common and effective treatment includes an injection of the antibiotic Ceftriaxone, along with an oral dose of either azithromycin or Doxycycline. The CDC does not recommend taking the oral antibiotic on its own so it’s important to seek in-person care for this treatment. A K-affiliated doctor will refer you to a doctor for treatment.

How much does the lab work to test for chlamydia & gonorrhea cost?

For $59, you can get tested for both chlamydia & gonorrhea and in some cases, your doctor may also include a urinalysis for the same cost. This payment includes the initial doctor visit to order your lab, the lab work itself, as well as the follow up visit to discuss your results.

If you receive a positive chlamydia test, the doctor can prescribe antibiotics through the app. If you receive a positive gonorrhea test, you will be referred to a doctor for in-person treatment—gonorrhea is not best treated remotely.

Where do I get my STD test done?

We partner with Quest Diagnostics to offer STD testing. You can have your lab administered at any local Quest. Find a location near you and schedule an appointment here.

Is it safe to go to a lab to get tested given COVID-19?

Quest has taken extensive measures to keep their labs safe for anyone who needs testing. It is required that you wear a mask, use the provided gloves when needed, and maintain social distancing (all seating is set at least 6 feet apart). They also have an option to receive text alerts when your clinician is ready for you so that you don’t need to sit in their office if you’d prefer.

You can find more information about their safety precautions here.

How long does it take to get results back from my STD test?

The time it takes for the labs to receive results varies but is typically no longer than a week. Your doctor will get in touch with you via the app to share and discuss your results.

Who is eligible to purchase this STD test?

This test is available to anyone in the continental U.S. excluding residents from New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island. If you’re experiencing fever, moderate or severe abdominal pain, vomiting or other concerning symptoms, this test is not for you. Instead, please go to an Urgent Care or an Emergency Room for an evaluation.
